Key Focus/ Scope

  • Respond to participant inquires regarding status of 401k distributions
  • Assist Advisors, Plan Administrators and Third Party Administrators (TPA’s) with 401k distribution procedures
  • Respond to internal inquiries regarding JH IRA accounts

Major Responsibilities

  • Member of in-bound (80%) / out-bound (20%) phone-based team focused on facilitating the funding of JH IRA’s by working with participants and both internal and external partners
  • Deliver outstanding customer service in a professional manner
  • Assist Advisors, Plan Administrators and TPA’s with 401k distribution procedures
  • Respond to inquires from JH Retirement Plan Services
  • Communicate with Third Party Administrators and Plan Sponsors to facilitate distribution process
  • Proactively share knowledge to ensure team objectives are met
  • Ability to work independently and as a team with a customer focus
  • Additional duties as assigned


  • Bachelor Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years financial services industry experience preferred
  • Series 6 and 63 required within 6 months of date of hire

  • Detail oriented with the ability to quickly organize, prioritize and work within a multiple task environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.  Ability to breakdown an issue, isolate and resolve the problem(s).
