Job Summary
This is for a Systems Application Support role within the Global Solutions Delivery organization. The successful candidate will provide superior support services for multiple applications. Responsibilities include providing support for day to day operations, working on enhancements, and providing subject matter expertise on various Projects related to our client’s vendor and proprietary applications.
The role requires an in depth understanding and analysis of various system requirements through meetings, workflow analysis, then quickly evaluating the information from those multiple sources to develop an understanding of the client requests and translate them into application and technical requirements. Finally, work to ‘Drive’ the effort forward by partnering with all areas involved.

The Production Services team has the accountability for:
  • Leading/managing the technical, scheduling, and workflow components of small to medium sized technical projects/initiatives. This includes such tasks as interacting and negotiating with other departments and organizing and providing status updates.
  • Automating existing processes using enterprise batch scheduling tools such as CA-WLA
  • Creating and Maintaining Production Standards and Guidelines framework
  • Integrating and Collaborating with geographically and culturally diverse cross-functional teams in supporting operational activities, new initiatives, and change & incident management
  • Managing and resolving conflicting priorities, and negotiating realistic timelines requiring minimum supervision
  • Providing Project development teams with best design and workflows using the latest scheduling tool features and best practices.
  • Participating in planned changes and working with the IT project teams to ensure a smooth support transition from the project implementation teams to Production.
  • Supporting offshore team on a 7x24 support basis for batch failures or escalations and the ability to work rotating shifts.
  • Developing and coordinating in-house technical training to improve overall employee awareness, response time, and technical readiness.

  • A good understanding of project lifecycle
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant industry experience
  • The ideal candidate will excel in data gathering and analytical/problem solving skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and easily to changes within the business
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment on larger projects.
  • Experience supporting UNIX, SQL and Windows based applications.
  • Well versed in ITIL, SDLC and Compliance.
