Reports to: Vice President Strategy & Execution Global Technology

Location: 200 Bloor Toronto, Ontario


Job Summary:


Reporting to the Vice President, Strategy & Execution, this role will support the delivery of Global Technology’s strategic objectives and will be a key member of the Global Technology Strategy & Execution team.  The incumbent will be responsible for developing and outlining the strategy through coordination and collaboration with various technology groups, in addition to developing the roadmap and plan, outlining and tracking the governance for the special projects and driving the communication and change management around the same.  They will also be responsible for developing the financial business case for the corporate projects, and various analytics to support the strategy of the group.


Key Accountabilities:


Individual Accountabilities:


  • Responsible for the development of the overall Technology strategy through collaboration with various technology teams.  Leads the creation and development of the comprehensive Technology strategy ensuring alignment between the Divisional and Corporate Technology strategies.  

  • Responsible and accountable for the creation and development of the monthly and Quarterly Technology function reporting packages for the Chief Operations Officer and the Executive Committee.  Ensures determination and tracking of the ‘lead & lag’ indicators (KPI’s).  Collaborates with the various Divisional and Corporate Technology teams to ensure alignment. 

  • Responsible for driving Program Governance across key initiatives and the overall global Technology function. 

  • Leads the building and development of Special Projects, including the creation of effective reporting and analysis for these projects. 

  • Responsible and accountable for enhancing the Global Technology reporting dashboard, data cubes, and for creating visibility around the outcomes of key Technology initiatives and projects.  

  • Manages the internal Global Technology communication mechanisms for key projects and deliverables.

  • Responsible for the execution of change management related to Global Technology’s key strategic initiatives and projects. 


Key Shared Accountabilities:


  • Collaborate with the Strategy team to create alignment on various strategic initiatives and to help develop the overall plan

  • Engage with Technology teams to create alignment on key projects and initiatives and help develop execution roadmaps  


  • Collaborate with the cross functional teams to develop a communication and change management strategy  


  • Collaborate with the PMO to ensure standard and ad-hoc reporting requirements are delivered effectively 


Job Requirement:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Finance

  • Overall 10-15+ years’ experience in Consulting and Strategy

  • Previous experience with a major Consulting Organization

  • Reporting and Planning experience

  • Metrics Collation and Reporting Capabilities

  • Data Analytics Experience

  • Change and Global Program Management experience

  • Process Improvement

  • Lean and Process Improvement
