Role Summary:

The role will be under in New Business Underwriting Team with responsibilities involving underwriting of new business, existing policies, handling enquiries from distribution channels and internal customer, conducting underwriting trainings, visiting agency branches, and, involving new business, underwriting related projects and internal staff training.

Result Areas:
  • Handle both non-medical / medical underwriting cases
  • Follow up with underwriting outstanding issues
  • Handle agency enquiries via phone and/or email
  • Assist any project taking being assigned by Superior 

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Degree holder
  • 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably from life insurance industry or medical field
  • LOMA qualification/FLMI preferred
  • Knowledge/Skills
  • Customer oriented and attentive to details
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under stress 
  • Experience of small team leadership preferred 
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • PC literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
