You bring excellent organization, planning and time management skills with the ability to be flexible and adaptable, handle multiple demands and competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
What you will achieve in this role:
•Generate new and unique ideas, approaches and solutions to problems and opportunities.
•Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and operations engineers to uncover pain points and opportunities to deliver new business value through software
•Guide the development of engineering staff within your team
•Execute analysis, identify root cause of problems and develop solutions.
•Collaborate with BSA and business to define and provide optimum solutions to complex business problems.
•Prototype and build new functionality to deliver on key product objectives
•Participate in work estimates and planning for team deliverables.
What you will be working with:
•React js, Node js, HTML 5, CSS3, XML, Web Services, .Net, C#, Java,
•DevOps practices and technologies.
•Unit testing frameworks, Selenium, Cucumber.
•Cloud Foundry, Salesforce
•3-5 years of relevant development experience
•Demonstrated passion for customer service.
•Courage to “question and innovate” to drive continuous improvement.
•Honest communicator with strong interpersonal skills tempered with a great sense of humor.
•Calm demeanor while multi-tasking and working under time constraints/pressure.
•Focused attention to quality and important details.
•Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
•Familiarity with agile and DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and other approaches to accelerate the delivery of new features
•Understanding of the fundamentals of capital markets or financial services in support of our service or product offerings (or are ready to learn by doing!)
•Experimenting with emerging technologies and understanding how they will impact what comes next
