Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for an end to end full life-cycle recruitment process, a good candidate experience, assessment and negotiation. The incumbent partners with lines of business and functional areas to provide strategic recruiting services to ensure that the company’s recruiting programs maximize visibility and result in high quality hires.

Job Description:
  • Autonomously manage end to end recruitment process ensuring a smooth and positive, on-brand candidate experience.
  • Create and execute strategic sourcing plans to attract top talent, both passive and active
  • Proactively source and build a talent pipeline by utilizing all available channels such as LinkedIn Recruiter, & JobsDB 
  • Generate and support new innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Responsible for execution of local campus strategy
  • Use existing systems (e.g. Taleo, Workday), and ensure that the candidate selection workflow is followed
  • Assess candidates using behavioral based interviewing in order to ensure top quality talent is selected
  • Drive the candidate selection process and ensure managers have the tools needed to select the most qualified candidate 
  • Act as a Talent Advisor and strategic partner by working closely with business leaders to manage the entire hiring process
  • Ensure that candidates hired go through necessary checks before onboarding (i.e. background check)
    • Enrolment in the BGC system
    • Monitoring of results & adjudication
  • Manage the creation and release of new hire introduction announcement
  • Stay current on recruitment trends by maintaining and enhancing a network of contacts in the industry, participating in industry events and professional associations
  • Ensure all staffing processes are fair and equitable and comply with all relevant government regulations
  • Manage and/or participate in projects as needed
  • Handle ad hoc tasks from time to time

Minimum Requirements:
  • B.Sc/B.A. Psychology, Behavioral Science, Management or equivalent;
  • 5-7 years of recruiting experience;
  • Experience using alternative sourcing methods, with a focus on social media and networking tools;
  • Level of positions sourced includes senior level and technical positions;
  • Experience in using HRIS & recruitment tool is a plus (Workdaty / Taleo)
  • Ability to consult with internal and external clients and provide business solutions; 
  • Demonstrated success in taking a consultative approach with internal and external clients while providing business solutions;
  • Organized and detail oriented with a pro-active approach;
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate an environment with multiple and shifting priorities with ease;
  • Customer-centric attitude coupled with a sense of urgency;
  • Advanced knowledge of labor market and industry trends;
  • Advanced knowledge of business unit products, drivers and strategies;
  • Exceptional communication skills- crisp and articulate verbal skills in addition to effective written communication required; and
  • Well networked
