Job Description Summary 

Chinese Business Process Associate is responsible for processing, analyzing and completing Chinese/non-Chinese financial and non-financial transactions within pre-set service turn-around-time with quality standards. The job purpose is to ensure that the processors are able to meet individual and team goals in line with the team Service Level Agreement (SLA). 

Key Accountabilities

The Business Process Associate’s key responsibilities for this position are:
  • Process and capture information to system according to established methods and procedures
  • Constantly increase the number of knowledgeable functions handled by the team
  • Handle transactions accurately with minimum supervision
  • Conduct in-depth analysis on all clients’ requests and make effective decisions whenever necessary
  • Assist colleagues during business peak season or high volume days
  • Communicate effectively to agents and clients through memo and letter
  • Suggest ways on how to improve the current process and team metrics
  • Give regular updates on the current performance of the team or individual when deemed necessary
  • Ensure that all cases assigned are completed within the turn-around-times
  • Consistently meet the service targets set by the company at the soonest possible time
  • Such other duties and functions as assigned by Operations Management

Minimum Skills Requirement to Hire:

  • Completed a Bachelor’s Degree in any field
  • High Chinese Competency (Read, Write & Comprehension)
Technical Skills
  • Minimum keyboard typing skills of 32 words per minute (alphanumeric)
  • Minimum Chinese language typing skills of 15 words per minute using Cang Jie
  • Ability to use desktop computer system
  • Knowledge of MS Applications (Word, Excel & MS Powerpoint) is a plus
Soft Skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (English & Chinese)
  • Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in writing letters to clients and agents
  • Ability to learn and adapt frequent procedural updates from the BU
  • Team oriented yet able to work independently

  • Good organization and analytical skills
  • Willing to render overtime work as needed
