Job Summary:

The Tester will be deployed to different initiatives / projects and is expected to work with an array of different project members, POCs, stakeholders, etc. The candidate is expected to participate as a technical resource in the planning and implementation of User Acceptance Testing. Responsibilities require little or no supervision. The candidate is required to have strong knowledge of tools and methodologies surrounding Systems Testing.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Delivery of successful initiatives in a timely manner based on project objectives and success criteria. Data Test process and support of data test lead in development of overall test process/structure
  • Promoting and enabling a high degree of collaboration among Business SMEs and decision makers, the Business Transformation Office, the Project Management Office and Information Services partners to ensure successful, quick delivery.
  • Production of high quality business requirements; including the creation of documentation in various formats including Test Cases, User Stories, Test Scripts
  • Identification and escalation of key risks, issues and dependencies, as well as cost benefit tradeoffs among a variety of options to align with overall project and program objectives. Clear communication and reporting on testing errors.
  • Successful planning and implementation of testing as well as identify and recommend resolution to testing errors.

Minimum Requirement to Hire:
  • MS Excel functions and formulas
  • Knowledgeable in best in class processes, tools and technology as well as the ability to apply practical results oriented approach to accelerate the delivery of solution assessments for execution 
  • Windows Application Troubleshooting.
  • Must pass current job expectations and meet performance metrics.
  • Must not have any attendance issues and have not received any disciplinary action.
  • Chinese proficiency (reading traditional/simplified) is a must
  • Computer Science / Information Technology 
Work Experience:
  • 2+ years of progressive responsibility and accountability in one or more of:
  • IT/IS testing 
  • Development of organization-wide data policies and processes 
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent comprehension, analytical and decision making skills
  • Self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Technical Skills:
  • Microsoft Office suite including Word, MS Project and SharePoint 
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Excel features such as pivot tables, pivot charts, filters, and functions 
  • Database skills in SQL Server and Oracle. Other database technologies are an advantage.
