The Telesales Manager will be responsible for managing the Telesales Team and  in the up selling and cross selling of Manulife Insurance products  through outbound telemarketing. 

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate and drive the performance of the Telesales Team
  • Set sales targets, monitor performance and work with Team Lead to meet monthly targets 
  • Staffing and recruitment; Build team, provide appropriate & high impact coaching, training support and guidance for Telesales Team. 
  • Sales planning and execution 
  • Manage and ensure optimal utilization and results of each campaign
  • Analyse, report, review and appraise individual sales performance and team performance
  • Build a highly motivated, energized and high performing Telesales Team 
  • Manage and resolve customers’ issues escalated by Team Lead
  • Manage and ensure sales call quality and applications meet the service standards of DBS and sales professionalism
  • Ensure team adherence to compliance and control, call center guidelines and policies
  • Developing Key internal relationships
  • Budget planning and strategy
  • Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by DBS

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in telesales/call centers with 2-4 years in a supervisory role 
  • Fluent communication and good written skills 
  • Good interpersonal, influencing and coaching skills 
  • Ability to multi-task and can work independently 
  • A team player 
  • Good time management and organization skills 
  • Good follow-up and coordination skills 
  • Good customer management skills 
  • People management experience and leadership abilities 
  • Disciplined, motivated, self & target driven with positive mindset 
  • Proficient in MS Words, Excel formulas/pivot tables 
  • Diploma/Degree Holder
