Role Summary:

Case Manager is responsible to provide proactive and seamless service support to both internal and external customers to ensure submitted application can be completed within the shortest available time frame

Principal role and responsibilities for CM:
  • Liaise with business partners and internal operations to facilitate the end to end process of new business from applications to issue of policy
  • Handle case enquiries from seller and Agent
  • Communicate promptly and effectively with underwriters and seller/agent on all underwriting requirements to facilitate approval and issue of new applications
  • Collect sufficient information and documentation from clients and ensure policy application case submissions are complete and accurate
  • Provide administration support related to case management e.g. update sales progress report, follow up closely for APS report from clinic
In Manulife environment, CM is expected to perform additional functions as below:
  • Provide business support and services to all channels including direct communication with seller/Agent/Broker (e.g. phone consultation, meeting)
  • Before the seller/Agent/Broker submit the application documents formally to NB or UW, CM should provide screen check on application to ensure the information fulfilled the underwriting requirements (including financial and medical evidence pre-checking) 
  • Assist in ad hoc projects and special arrangement for channels e.g. jumbo cases
  • Share best practice from time to time with different channels via regular training/meeting
  • Deal with banks in related to premium financing issues
  • Maintain and build relationship with agents/intermediaries by effective and efficient services and communications
  • Support training/briefing to sellers to share the case submission/UW tips etc.
Qualifications

  • University /College graduate plus minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Good knowledge/familiar with Banccassurance’s business model
  • Supervisory exposure is preferable
  • High proficiency in written English and Chinese
Knowledge/skills:
  • Good communication and presentation skill
  • Customer-orientated service
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Good PC skills including MS Word, Excel and Power Point
