We are seeking a self-motivated DevOps Delivery Specialist, who are obsessed with delivering value, are forward-thinking, and excited to see the successful implementation of the products they deliver.
 
As a DevOps Delivery Specialist, you will:
  • Evaluate, identify, and automate the administration of various tools used in the DevOps Infrastructure 
  • Promote a co-operative work environment through building relationships with our stakeholders and driving enhancements to the end-to-end process (workstation to production)
  • Develop and administer various tools supporting SCM & Release Management including Source Control repositories, Continuous Integration environment and Artifact Management
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and process
  • Deployment and automation for client/server applications and testing suites
  • Support our end users for the DevOps Tooling our team owns
  • Design and deliver cloud-native services and data structures that enable an exceptional user experience
You will bring and continuously build upon the following skills:
  • Familiarity with agile and DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and other approaches to accelerate the delivery of new features
  • Experimenting with emerging technologies and understanding how they will impact what comes next
  • A capacity for constant learning from both success and failure, remaining open to change and continuous improvement
  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively articulate and communicate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes across all levels in the organization
Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with system administration and automation experience
  • 2+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Node.js, Python, JavaScript, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience in a mission critical environment
  • 2+ years using virtual infrastructure such as vSphere and Docker
  • Understanding of key architecture considerations/issues associated with distributed multi-tier infrastructure leveraging cloud services such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry
  • Knowledge of Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration processes and concepts
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration processes and concepts
  • Experience administrating cloud services would be a plus
  • Knowledge of mobile device technologies (iOS, Android, SQLite, etc.) would be a plus
  • Knowledge and experience with using and administering tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SonarQube
  • Knowledge and experience with SCM tools and best practices (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Artifactory, etc.)
